ABOUT ME

Very free spirit here! Love to travel and meet new people. Have 4 adult children that still like to visit me often. Must be my cooking. Currently live alone but love to entertain. Modeled locally and in Calif in my teens and early 20's. Like watching movies and eating foreign or exotic foods. Still a big kid at heart. Will probably never grow up. Very laid back. When funds are available, try to live each day like my last and have found that the best things in life really are free like the friendships made here.

PHILOSOPHY

Been a nurse for 32 years. Have seen and been there for many people as they took their last breath. They all have told me that the one regret in life was not having more time to enjoy life. They have taught me not to work my life away. That's what inspired me to couch surf. They will never know the impact they have had in my family's and my life.

Long walks and conversations. Amusement parks. Love watching Drum & Bugle corps competitions. Thrift and bargain hunting. Love entertaining family and guests. love watching a good movie with good company. Visiting local beaches is amazing to clear the mind. Exploring nature is a very inexpensive way of getting true organic entertainment. Like to eat at hole in the wall mom & pop restaurants for the most authentic foods. Enjoy clubbing to get my aerobic dance on, usually gay and gay friendly clubs but do go to straight clubs with my guest and female friends. Just a really social laid back person here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The power of the Eiffel Tower and its views of the city, the beaches of Puerto Rico at sunset and witnessing the birth of two of my children. All breathtaking and memorable! Humanitarian work I did in Guatemala. Very beautiful and colorful culture. The splendor of its mountains and the contrast of Guatemala City.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to help people to learn to relax and enjoy what nature and local communities have to offer. This last Northeast hurricane and the lengthy power outage forced me to get out of my comfortable home and enjoy my local community. There is so much right under our noses to explore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, so I do like feeding my guests when possible. I can help with transportation if needed. I have many interesting life stories, and would love to hear yours!
