About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to never let an opportunity pass me, I want to see, try, eat, drink and do everyting and anything
ABOUT ME
Hmm... well I like to think both myself and Rachel are outgoing, open-minded and ready for anything. So much so that we're en route to Cairns from Adelaide by bicycle in order to fundraise for a fantastic organisation in Thailand called '4Life' who work with abandoned children with disabilities. (http://4lifethailand.org/) You can find out more about our trip through our blog - http://twobluebicycles.tumblr.com/
I'm sporty, love music and food; as I worked as a chef for a year before going to University! I try to laugh at any situation and rarely say no as I've found it's the best way to travel and experience other cultures and meet other people.
Rachel is quite boring to be honest... wish she wasn't coming...
PHILOSOPHY
Never say no out of laziness
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think the CS project is genius! It brings people together and allows the opportunity to inter-mingle, see other cultures and meet new people, without the financial barrier. Thumbs up!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had quite a bit of CS experience thanks to some time in the Caribbean, I also managed to couchsurf for 13 nights out of 15 whilst I was travelling through Mexico and met some incredible people.
Finally, both myself and Rachel worked for a children's charity which required us to work on the road in the UK whilst keeping costs down so are very use to the customs of CS.
We've been lucky enough to utilise CS during our tour of Australia and have also been using Warmshowers.org, a site more geared to cycle touring.
