About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Philly most of my life and am getting the itch to roam again with my lease coming to an end and a deadend job. I plan on visiting friends in San Diego, LA and Portland and do some surfing in a few other cities. I've done some surfing all over the country when I used to work for the circus and it was awesome, met so many cool people. I'm trying to replicate that again with people that enjoy good music, art, sports, beer, outdoors, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live in the moment. I'm planning on spending some time in California, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest before going on Phish tour and selling koozies. I work in sales and it's still the longterm plan but giving a big chunk of the country a trial run to see where I settle next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed around the country while working for the circus a couple years ago. About to do a second stint seeing the country and figuring out where my next home will be. I'm starting to sell all my shit and plan on traveling with one big bag.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately I've had limited opportunities to host, I only received a few requests this past year. But I've done a decent amount of surfing and love the concept, I've met alot of cool likeminded people and looking to do more of the same. If you're down to check out a band or just shoot the shit at a bar I'm guessing we'll get along just fine.

Interests

Exploring random places, playing and watching sports, live music, people watching, bars, museums, art, bowling, darts, camping, hiking, shuffleboard (in the bar not at the retirement home), disc golf, anything involving a frisbee, cornhole, tailgating, trivia

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the craziest weekends of my life was traveling from Philly to Coventry, Vermont to see Phish play a weekend long festival. The drive to Vermont was only 8 hours but there was only one lane into the farmland the festival was being held at. The area received several inches of rain in the days leading up to the festival and the cars were getting stuck in mud. After not moving in line for a full 24 hours, we heard on the local radio that the festival could not park any more cars. Rather than turn around, we parked our car at a nearby exit and walked 17 miles into the festival, a few hours before the first set started. Absolutely exhausting and crazy and totally worth it!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands
