About Me

Joshua, a logistician/statistician and social entrepreneur from Ghana, holds a bachelor's degree in business administration specializing in logistics and supply chain management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also has a higher national diploma in statistics from Takoradi Technical University and a master's degree in climate change and sustainable development from the University of Ghana.

Joshua is the co-founder of Grikob Foundation Ghana, a global initiative of M & G Logistics and Supply Chain Company Limited. He has received various prestigious awards and affiliations, including being an associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, a Global People's Fellow, an IDEX Fellow, and a member of the United Nations Interagency Network for Youth Development and Youth Working Group on Gender Equality. He is also the founder and regional president of SDG Changemakers and a leader of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Awareness Campaign team in Ghana, as well as a founding member and executive director of the Alliance for SDGs Network.

Furthermore, Joshua serves as the country representative for Wogglesoft Private Limited and has been involved in the global marketing team of World Merit, where he held the position of vice president. He is also a member of the global fundraise team at World Merit headquarters in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Joshua's commitment to empowering women and promoting sustainable development is evident in his work. He conducted a pilot research study on the economic situation of women in the Ahanta West district in 2015 and subsequently partnered with the district to provide entrepreneurial and vocational training to five women groups in five communities. This training encompassed various skills such as baking, soap making, tie making, batik, and dye making, resulting in the successful establishment of small-scale businesses by those who received the training.

In 2016, Joshua collaborated with the Gomoa East district and invited an eco-artist named Zeevic Jacob Peretz from Israel to train women groups in eight communities. This initiative aimed to convert garbage and biodegradable materials into useful products, providing 200 rural women with skills that empowered them economically and fostered self-reliance.

Additionally, Joshua organized Good Deeds Day 2017 in Donkorkrom, where free screenings for various health conditions were provided to the surrounding communities. Drug abuse education and discussions on rehabilitation measures were also facilitated by the narcotics control board. Overall, 840 individuals received screenings and support.

As an advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Joshua has actively conducted practical sessions to raise awareness about the goals and prepare change makers to contribute to their implementation. He successfully convened the first national dialogue on the SDGs in partnership with various organizations and government ministries, with a focus on the role of technology and innovation in accelerating the implementation of Agenda 2030.

Furthermore, Joshua organized a free screening event for the inmates of Nsawam prisons, where more than 1,250 individuals were screened for various health conditions.

Joshua firmly believes that prioritizing human welfare is crucial for creating a safer world for all.
