ABOUT ME

My name is Joey Olson, I am at a part of my life where i just want to get out and explore. I have two brothers and a lucky sister (who wouldn't want 3 brothers?). I love music and I play the piano guitar harmonica and mandolin. Someday I would love to pursue music professionaly (maybe after I have paid off all of my student Loans!) I like exploring, I like barbeques, I love funny people and I try my best to be one of them! I love to take risks and I hope you do to- Life without risk is a life that needs to be re evaluated!

PHILOSOPHY

"the sooner you get behind, the longer you have to catch up" that's one of my favorite philosophical sayings. I would consider myself a questioner. I like to ask deep questions and i love having deep conversations. I cant wait to here peoples opinions and worldviews. I am excited to see how people across the world view faith, God, purpose and life in general. Maybe you can help me solve some of lifes big questions!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't wait to share with others my experiences and mostly learn from others stories. I love the idea of meeting new people and getting their expertise and wisdom, and also just having a good time. I have surfed a good amount in Europe, and as soon as I have a place of my own I look forward to hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with many people throughout Europe and am excited to stay with more everywhere else in the world. I also love WWOOFing- check it out. Its like couch farming. Chances are if you are looking at this right now, you already know about this though.

兴趣

I play the guitar, piano, mandolin and harmonica, i love to dance (any style as long as its got a good beat), I love to play sports (especially soccer), i love to grill burgers and make pancakes. I worked as a youth camp leader for 3 years and I hope to someday get into politics and maybe use my degree ha! I love doing crazy and spontaneous things because they seem to be the things that you remember the best anyways.

I like reading about politics and history, but i also like a good thriller. Davinci code was interesting. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings,Dumb and Dumber, Count of Monte Cristo, Shawshank redemption, Inception, Gladiator, Home Alone, The pink pather, Three Amigos.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Snowboarded down the slopes of Big Sky Montana in the fresh powder. Camped next to the Volcano Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland right after it had erupted. Walked to camino de Santiago in Spain (at least some of it!)

I know a fair amount about music and how to play instruments. I also know a lot about soccer. I have some good riddles that i learned to keep the kids busy at the camp where i worked. I like to tell stories, and I like to cook (but doesn't mean I am good at it- sorry)
