About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a very small village in the south of Portugal, in a region known for the good food, hospitality, and simpathy of its inhabitants. I believe I took the hospitality and simpathy part. Knowing how to prepare good food..humm... It must have got lost somewhere in the way.
In a big group I would probably be the guy you do not notice, the shy one, the peaceful one, but always smiling. Im not a person of many words...I guess if I earned money for every word I "save" I would be rich.
I am what you see, but there's more. It takes time to know me, but friends that got through the "get to know" phase dont usually regret it.
PHILOSOPHY
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
One day coming back from a trip with a friend I realized I have a free couch now. So I decided to put it in CS page. And now I have an officially free couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Isn't this part what you find down below in the references (that you should check to verify how good person I am)?!
Interests
Interest and passion number one have a name and two colours: BENFICA (i hope you know the colours). I am Benfica, Benfica is me.
Glad that we have this clear. Now we can move on for secondary interests.
I like sports, specially football (if it is Benfica playing this is obviously not a secondary interest) but basically I like watching any sports I can understand the rules (curling included, although the rules are pretty foggy to me). Watching films at home or in cinema, reading a book in a cafe or in the grass by the Wisla river. Well passed afternoons with friends playing video games (and sometimes drinking but thats optional)
And what else? well, travelling, going out with my camera explore the city, cycling, hiking, and best kind of program would be sitting outside on a cafe, enjoying the sun (something rare here) having a beer or a coffee (i like coffee).
And doing all this (except watching films) with music playing in the background. Bird sounds are nice, but I prefer music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like films, different kinds, but nothing is like 13.5 hours of Star Wars. Let me just name a few others to try to find some common points: 21 grams, Big Fish, Black Cat white Cat, Catch me if you can, Kill Bill, Batman, Lord of the rings, Matrix....humm, dont be fooled, I also like real and serious dramas in cinema. There are plenty others...from sci-fi and fantasy to historical and political thrillers, epics and heartbreaking dramas.
I love tv series...yeah yeah what a waste of time some of you will say...I respect...but not for me...watching genious stuff like Breaking Bad is top quality time.
what else?! Books! Haruki Murakami's, Wilbur Smith's and definetely George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
Music? there are too many...what kind of music? well, i guess the good kind...its too hard for me to label a band with a genre. I listen to the rock classics, to indie rock, recently to the more alternative/ electronic wave, world and folk music. Always happy to find new music.
