ABOUT ME

I'm Malaysian and my husband Franck is French. We've been in Spain for 13 years and love it! We have a 9 year old daughter -Reya.
We love traveling, eating new food & experiencing new cultures!
I am a big softie when it comes to animals and I enjoy nature (so do Franck and Reya!). I could say lots more, but you'll get a better idea meeting me in person! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed a decade ago all through Europe (Before couch-surfing existed)! I had such an excellent time meeting new people and staying with them in thier homes. So this is just my way of 'paying-it-forward' :)

Intereses

At the moment, it's what Catalonia offers me, i.e. friends, festivals, food, sea, sun!! The combination makes life here just so amazing! I'm still discovering Spain after 13 years and it still is a truly vibrant, colourful, and exciting adventure. I tend to go with the flow and check out what the local scene has to offer. Whether it's film, music, art or random gigs, i just love absorbing it all.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Caving in tonga: I went caving with friends with just a little torch. It was so pitch black that we could barely make out where we were going. We could hear a few people ahead of us, and when we made it to them, i was completely amazed by the crystal clear (turquoise) water which surrounded us! It felt like we were floating/flying...
Snorkeling in Cairns: Being surrounded by amazing, massive sea-life! It was truly exhilarating :)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I always love meeting other well-traveled people to be able to share stories and experiences. I especially enjoy people who really want to 'taste' other cultures.. and by this i mean trying new food! My husband and I are always looking for the best places to eat and we love cooking too. So if you stay with us we'll be happy to tell you where to find great food here in Barcelona.
