I recently finished my PhD in theoretical physics, and now I'm up to again exploring the world, trying to find the balance between mind, body and soul.

Música, películas y libros

I like going to the movies, but even more watching great (or sometimes particularly bad) films together with friends. I have no TV, so I guess I miss some cool television series (but I repeatedly manage to see some episodes of the Simpsons and recently also Big Bang Theory).

I particularly like medieval & celtic-inspired music and songs by great songwriters like Cat Stevens or Simon&Garfunkel; sometimes I listen to melodic metal, trashy 80ies party music as well as to classic music...

I used to read a lot; unfortunately the last years I rarely found time to do so. I like various stuff, in particular comic fantasy and SciFi (like Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams), classic fantasy a la Tolkien, historic novels, poems, ... Still the complete works of Shakespeare are waiting for me.

At the moment I try to improve my skills in staff manipulation and contact juggling (sometimes also used for fire performance). While I have neglected music a bit lately, I'd like to practice the guitar again and maybe even improve my skills.

I could teach an absolute beginner both some staff and contact ball manipulation and some basic guitar chords. Of course I could also help to practice your German.

I am always interested in stories - hearing them as well as telling o writing them; so if you have some good stories I would be glad to listen to them (and everyone has good stories to tell!) If you happen to be *really* interested I can also tell you a lot about quarks, strings, black holes and the cosmic landscape. ;-)
