Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of people from all around the world sharing their homes for free.

Interests

I like electronics and all kinds of software related things (hence why I'm reading Computer Science), but my everyday interests more heavily lie on culture. I especially love music and film. I have a soft spot for old photographs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is thrilling, excilerating. I enjoy all genres, but the ones I definitely love the most are modern classical, jazz, ambient, electronic, lo-fi, and deep house to namedrop a few.

My favorite movie of 2014 is by far Whiplash. I also adore Woody Allen's work.

The Odessey is one book I immensely enjoyed reading because of its beautiful use of words. Söderberg and Camus are also favourites. And Greek mythology is dynamite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have

- hiked in the northernmost Swedish mountains.
- run down a volcano
- lived in China for half a year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd gladly enjoy discussing the future of mankind and the implications of an evolving technological society, but I also like talking about books and film.

If you're into charity, I can teach you some of the basic concepts of Effective Altruism.

And if you're interested in learning programming or Swedish I can be of help!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can actively take part in fulfilling, philosophical discussions. and I can gladly talk about music, film, or books. I can teach you a bit programming and some Swedish, maybe even some math depending on what level.

But most of all I can offer my own experiences and very gladly take part in yours!
