Hey. I’m Johan. Traveling is my big passion which has resulted in a lot of journeys over the years. I love to visit new countries and explore culture, food and meeting new people.

When I’m at home I enjoy to spend time with my family and friends. Other hobbies are cycling, hiking, fitness, music and reading.

Previous I was on the national team in cycling, so training and living healthy has always been a big part of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried couchsurfing for the first time this spring ( March 2016) in El Salvador, where a friend of mine hooked op with another couchsurfer from the country. We stayed at her house and she showed os around and told os about the culture and the people and I was immediately hooked about this wonderful concept so I signed up and made a profile.

It's always good to interact with different people and cultures, simply just to re-affirm that we're all quite similar. I'm down to have some beers or just hang out, listen to some music and talk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with a huge group of sharks and stingrays in Belize.
