I'm Johan Tuls. Since my placement in Suriname, my love towards other countries and cultures has increased a lot. I'm open to conversation to any kind of people. I will travel through south America this year and i hope to visit many kind people to learn from and to share my knowledge with. PHILOSOPHY

I used to aim for the best car/house when i was younger. Since i've been to Suriname i changed into someone that realised the message in the quote of Elton John:
My idea of life and my current journey is build upon a quote from Elton John:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined just a month before my journey. So i'm afraid i cant host for now. I would love to once i come back, but for now i would love to meet people and help where possible in exchange for some portuguese/spanish words or a nice talk/couch or floor to sleep on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience started in Salvador this year and i fell in love with this way of travelling. Learning things from native people and share experiences of eachothers cultures. I like to help with the dialy work and listen to the information about the area's. So far so good, didn't have any bad experiences yet.

Interessen

Travelling, walking, climbing, snowboarding/skiing, kite-boarding/buggying. Talking about anything in general, watching movies and anime. Besides that i like sports, nature and culture a lot.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like anime a lot. (Japanese animation). From the movies i just love: The lord of the rings, the gladiator, the matrix, Avatar.
Music: a lot of kinds, but linking park, metallica and john denver/johnny cash belong to the best.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Visit the jungle of Suriname with two guys (guides). They showed me what was really worth living for. What a person needs in life. And believe me, things and money weren't one of them.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I would like to share my listening and interested ear to listen to any idea, philosophy or thought that comes up. That is also what I want to learn. New ways of living.
I would like to teach, is that you are richer than 80% of the people living on this earth. Make sure you help and respect anybody that doesn't have that luck. Not with money, but with love, peace and understanding.
