About Me

CURRENT MISSION

become an expert in Pro-Tools and then drive cross country on my motorcycle

ABOUT ME

I am still figuring out who's on first, whats the deal, and how to make it all happen. Recently graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in New York City.
I Enjoy traveling alot, and have traveled quite a bit for someone my age i think. My father was a commercial film director and so i used to go with him on shoots a bit. Some of my favorite places i've been were southern California, Vancuver BC, Toronto, Asheville NC, Sweden, northern Spain, Copenhagen, and Barbados.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to try and be a good friend, a good brother, and a good son. but sometimes not always in that order.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Most of the places I've been in the world while traveling were in a more tourist setting. Through CS2 i would really like to explore more of the world and meet new people on a more day to day level. I would also be willing to (when i'm not traveling or in school) host people at either my residence in Maine or in NYC.
I think its very important these days that people from different lifestyles and experiences share their beliefs and ideas with one another to gain a better understanding of the world in which all humans (plants and animals) live, work, and die. Networks like CS2 are great for breaking down walls as well as building new bridges between different social types, cultures, and ethnicities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was actually as a host. this girl came to my small town in Maine and i met her at the local record shop one afternoon. we started chatting and she was very cool. she apparently didn't have anyplace to stay since she was a student just in town for some sort of meeting at a local college and hadn't made any hotel plans. so i offered her to crash on som epillows and blankets on my floor, not really a couch i know, but comfy nonthe less! she thanked me in the morning, and i really felt good about helping someone out.

the other time was when i went to Freeport, in the Bahamas, for vacation. I was goign to stay at a friends house which his family had rented, but my adress information and the taxi cab driver didnt seem to do any good. i ended up sitting at this appartment/ condo area right next to the resort square area where all teh partying spring breakers were. then this big Bahamian guy who lived in one of the condos asked if i needed a place to stay. i was a little bit skeptical, but he seemed genuine and so i dropped my bags up at his flat, then some of his friends came over and we ate pizza together, then they took me out partying all night! it was really fun, and they were so nice. next morning he made me breakfast and told me a i could stay another night if i didnt find my friends. it was really amazing and from then on i wanted to have mreo encounters like that. i did end up fidning my friends, just ran into them on the beach!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have found It's important to say what you feel. However it's equally important to know when to refrain from saying anything at all.
I would really like to learn how to fly a plane, and also how to overcome procrastination.
but these are long term goals haha! I first want to learn how to get my knee down at the race track, and make great pasta sauce.
