My name is Johann and I grew up in Cologne in the West of Germany. I am 26 years old and have been abroad for about 6 years now studying and travelling. I lived in Nepal for sixteen months, in Ecuador for three months, Mexico for six months Chile for half a year and the Netherlands for two years. I finished my studies in Innovation and Sustainable Development and right now Im travelling, expanding my mind and just learning. I love to visit new places and people from all over the world! :)

I have been an addict to Rap music and I still love it (Biggie, Tupac, Andre3000, Kendrick Lamar, Slim Shady, Jay-Z, Nas, MF Doom, DMX). Other than that I loooove experimental crazy Jazz like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker and John Zorn (Spy vs. Spy and Naked City!!!). I also like Metal (Metallica, Priests of Judas), Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Neo-Soul, Soul, R&B, Punk, Classic Music (Shostakovich!), childrem screaming in the streets, film music, the sound of dogs barking, elefants trumping hahahah. So you see I loveee all music which gives me energy, and enters my spirit!

I like all kinds of movies like Leon the professional, 24 Grams, Mommy, Big Lebowski and so oooon. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went swimming in Nepal in the Gosainkund lake on 4500 Meters, I took a wrong Bus in El Salvador to the mountains close to Guatemala although I wanted to go to Honduras and got hosted by a suuuper nice family. Just ask me its funnier to talk about these things in person haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am doing Qi Gong, Wing Chun and Meditation everyday so I can show you some or we can do it together. I can share my passion about philosophy and existenzialism (Heidegger, Sartre, Camus, Voltaire, Aristoteles, Platon, Kiergaard etc.) My passion for music, good and bad jokes, travelling. I speak 4 languages which I could speak with you. Most of all I can just share me being myself :)
