About Me

If you ask my friends and people that know me, they would probably say I am a happy, open-minded and honest person.
Generally I know what I want and I have already reached a few goals.
I finished school and have already studied and worked for a few years.
I always wanted to go abroad, get to know different cultures, meet other people, improve my language skills, see beautiful places, be in nature..
Now I take my time and have a break from my everyday life. I am looking forward to new experiences.

The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel around, get to know different cultures, meet new people and their country. The easiest way to do this is to live with locals. So couchsurfing is a great opportunity to spend some time with locals, get some hints for what are the best things to see, best places to go etc.

Interests

In my free time I enjoy to spend some time with my friends, reading a book or doing various sports from doing sport alone or in a team to outdoor activities. I enjoy exploring nature, cities and different surroundings.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Gladiator" and "Heat" are definitely two of my favorite movies. I enjoy everything from a good comedy to a thrilling thriller.

My favorite music genres are alternative rock and pop.

I read all kinds of books, but I prefer thrillers. One of my favorite author is Sandra Brown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a road trip on the west coast of the United States was definitely one of my best vacation I have ever done. Seeing big cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver(Canada) was exciting. Driving along the Highway One was beautiful. Hiking in Yosemite National Park, strolling through Redwood National Park and seeing this incredible dark blue water from Crater Lake was awesome. I can recommend it to everyone!

The pilot of a waterplane dropped my brother, three of his friends and me out in the middle of nowhere on Vancouver Island and we had to hike back a trail with our big backpacks for several days. That was fun!

Reaching the peak of the highest dune on the world in Namibia was exhausting. The view on the emptiness of the desert was incredible. An astonished moment I will never forget.
