I'm Johanna and currently taking a break from student's life in the most beautiful country I've seen so far.

I used to work a lot while I was a student and I love spending that hard-earned money for travelling. I'm very interested in other cultures and countries and I like learning different languages.

I am very open-minded and communicative and it's great for me to meet lots of people and talk with them about their adventures...

I like children a lot and that's why I'm currently financing my travels as an au-pair.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love to meet new people and I think that you`ll find sympathizers on couchsurfing - just people who are sharing the passion for travelling and who are very happy to share their experiences with you which can be very inspiring. I think this is exactly the way you should travel because like that you can be not only a tourist, but you can really experience a countries people and culture. Also it is a mutual thing- you stay in peoples houses all over the world (and make friends with some) and in exchange you let people stay at your place.

I love rock n' roll and oldies (including everything bettween the 60's and the 90's)
I do also like latin music, because it makes me wanna dance.. but in general I listen to every kind of music, as long as it's good ;)

Atonement is one of my favourite movies, but I like many..

But I read so much and loved so many books, I just can't say.... But i like reading about foreign cultures and countries, which I do in different languages as well and I'm falling easily for real-live novels but as well for romans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job, bought a backpack, packed it and just like that, started my journey into the unknown.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you the languages I speak and I would love to share my travel experiences with you. I can also tell you a lot about the German culture as well as the Kiwi culture. Of course I'm happy to teach you everything I know about my interests.

I'm more than willing to learn as much as possible about your culture and I love learning and speaking different languages, so I'd be very pleased to try and learn yours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share all my travel experience with you. I'm not very old yet, so there is probably not many things I can teach others, but I made my experiences and for me they are priceless. I'd also love to share my baking skills with you and would be very happy to cook a typical German food for you.
