About Me

I try to make the best out of every encounter and spread some positive energy. Trying to understand what led people to a certain attitude instead of judging them is the best and easiest way to make this world a little better. Every person is precious and if you treat everybody like this, you mostly get the same in return :)

To me, there's nothing more interesting than social life (which is probably why I've been studying sociology) and so my favourite activities are meeting friends and new people, discovering an unknown city, discussing and of course joking a lot. I'm really into sharing stories and find out how others see society, politics, culture or the world in general. The most important things in life are my friends and my family.

I like to have a cup of tea or a beer with friends, but also to party and to go dancing. Dance, for me, isn't only a matter of standing in a corner and wobbling to some music. It's also kind of a therapy. So if you like to dance for fun instead of presenting yourself in the best way, we should definitely go to some music event together :)

Besides, I live mostly vegan. I never force anyone to eat anything I prepare, but if you're interested, I'd love to share some recipes or cook together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I started hitchhiking, I noticed how much I gained from this awesome way of getting to know the people you would expect the least. I had my first CS-experiences in Ireland and found out that meeting locals and other travellers is also the best way to discover a city from the inside. Besides, I want to share my beautiful hometown with others.

Interests

- discussing everything: politics, society, life :D
- dancing - both all night long in a club and as a hobby. Currently I stick to hula hooping.
- geo caching, even though I'm a poor cacher and only find the easy ones.
- meeting friends and new people
- vegan food

Music, Movies, and Books

During the day I like Razz, Young Chinese Dogs, KIZ, Liedfett, Daughter, Katzenjammer, The Cat Empire, Jack White... But the lyrics and the individual song are always more important than the style of music.
At night, I prefer Techno, Drum'n'Bass and Goa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually several things, but my favourite was a 60 km biking tour through the Gap of Dunloe in Ireland :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share enthusiasm, vegan recipes, hula hooping tricks, funny stories, or show you the next Geocache.
