Hi my name is Johanna and I´m from Germany. In September 2015 I decided to become an AuPair in the States, so here I am, living in Baltimore and trying to see as much of America as I can.
I am an open-minded person who loves to meet new people, especially from different countries. I also love food and trying out things I haven´t done, seen or eaten before!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don´t want to be a normal tourist who stays in a hotel and does sightseeing tours. I want to see parts of cities, normal tourists would never go to and when I traveled I´ve made the best experiences by meeting new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost every kind of music. Since I´m in the States I started listening to country music because I was sick of the radio channels who think it is okay to play the same songs more than five times a day...😅
The music I am listening to depends on the mood I am in, but I don´t really like Electronic music or Heavy metal.
I love reading books and my favorite author is Jojo Moyes. I´ve read all her books and already pre-ordered the new one. (I'm an addict😋)
I like to watch action movies and comedy´s but NEVER romances or horror movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Ghana in Africa by myself when I was 16, to volunteer in a kindergarden.

I always love to learn from other people. Everyone has made different experiences, has an own lifestyle, and I would love to hear about it over maybe two or three beers? 🍻
