About Me

Currently I don't host men.

Hello!
My name is Johanna, I am 19 years old and live in the heart of germany: Hessen.
I live with 6 flatmates, so it's never boring! We often play board games, cook or go out together and of course you are invited to join me/us while visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was little my parents and I used to travel around Europe in our old red camper. I've also spend 3 months living in Uruguay with a host family. All this given I really enjoy learning about new cultures and seeing different places. I'm very thankful that my parents could afford showing me other countries and I hope that with the possibility of couchsurfing I will be able to continue to get to know more and more about the world we live in by inviting people to my home and visiting other places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to a lot of different genres e.g. techno, metalcore, german rap and indie.
For almost every mood and situation there is music, that lets you embrace it even more.

A few movies I like:
Inception, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Theory of Everything, I Feel Pretty, ...

A few books and authors I like:
Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Astrid Lindgren, Water for Elephants, Sebastian Fitzek, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been lucky to make a lot of great experiences in my life so it's a bit hard to decide.
One memorable ("long-term") experience for me was living in another country during my exchange in Uruguay. From being totally confused and overwhelmed by the culture, landscape and people to finding a second family and home so far away from my "normal life" was one of the most hardest, interesting and enjoyable things I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I was born in Wiesbaden and have lived here my whole life I know the city and surroundings pretty well. If you surf on my couch I can show you around or give tips to explore the region.
I play the paino and can teach you a little bit if you want. (:
I also speak a little bit spanish and would love to work on that, so if you are interested in talking spanish or teaching me, I would be more than happy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want I could cook something delicious and vegan for you. I'm always up for a game of "Wizard", "Settlers of Catan" or other good board and card games.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay
