About Me
Hi! I'm 19 years old and from Austria, I just completed my gap year 'aka' trip around the world! (well, not the whole world...) Anyhow, now that I'm back in Austria and starting Uni, I can't wait to meet interesting and like-minded people and to learn a thing or two about your culture. I'm generally a very calm, nature-loving and peaceful person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that to know a country, you have to know it's people. And what better way is there to do that than couchsurfing? Of course hostels are fun too, but that way you just can't experience the culture of a place as well as with a native person.
Interests
Travelling (obviously), Mountains, Live Music (I play the cello and the guitar), Acting, Hiking, Camping, running, Ping Pong, cooking and baking, Art, writing, Animals, lazy afternoons, listening to peoples' stories, exploring nature,...
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm open for almost anything! I myself like Folk/Indie/Alternative Music
Books: Tracks, The name of the wind, A walk across America, The fault in our stars
Movies& TV Shows: Into the Wild, Django Unchained, Supernatural
WARNING: I have not seen/read Game of Thrones, so if you're hoping to talk about it 24/7 I'm probably not the right person for that ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled the world for 9 months
Teach, Learn, Share
As a host, I want to share my culture, my home and my time with you. Depending on how long you want to stay, I would love to show you the beauty of this country, especially the parts you might not see as a tourist.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really don't have any extraordinary skills but I'll help you with anything you need and I'm willing to learn! I can cook up some traditional austrian meals for you (or with you) and I make delicious pancakes.
