Overview
About Me
I love traveling, no matter if it is just a weekend away or several weeks in a foreign country.
Besides that, I love live music. Small living room concerts, large stadiums or festivals - I love them all.
In general, I'm a very open and communicative person who enjoys the company of friends and loves to meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a very good way to get to know a city and especially the people living there. As well as to get an insight of the different areas and perhaps finding the one or other hidden gem.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a very bad singer and I don't play any instruments BUT I can't stand still if I hear good music. You will always see me dancing around.
I can't imagine living without music and I admire people who are talented musicians and I enjoy seeing them live.
I don't go to the movies very often, but some films deserve it to be watched on the big screen. I'm more interested in a good story and music than well-known and beautiful actors.
Regarding books: for me "Mono" by Michael Ende is one of the best books there is. Technically a children's book but it teaches us how valuable time is and the freedom to spend it instead of saving it for later.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being the witness for the wedding of two people I met about 15 minutes before they got married. They've been together for 10 years and decided that they want to get married in New York City. They planned it from home without their friends and family knowing, so they needed a spontaneous witness. You can see a picture of the happy couple and me in my pictures as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
Obviously, I can teach you how to be German: how to be always 5 minutes early, be prepared for everything and always have a plan where to go next. But as I'm not only like that, I can also show you how to be spontaneous, have a positive attitude in the morning (without annoying your flatmate though) and dancing like nobody is watching.
I can share many stories about my travels. Of times where the German planning went well and also of times when I planned something and it ended up being completely different and often even more amazing. Probably you have some of these stories too.
When it comes to learning, I have quite some things on my list but getting my scuba certificate for 30m is one of the main things on there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What can I share with you, if you let me stay at your home? Basically everything.
I don't have one special skill but I traveled a lot, so I can always tell a good story, give you an inside of my life and experiences.
As I'm always trying to eat local food, I can show you some German dishes "in return".
