Overview
About Me
I am a native Texan raised from a small town, but you wouldn't know it from meeting me. My sights are set on big adventures.
I am a student at Texas A&M. I am studying engineering, but the I plan to go into engineering education.
I am very passionate and excited. I like to have a plan, but I am also likely to change the plan spur of the moment if the circumstances change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me Couch Surfing is a community of people who don't see my sense of adventurous as a liability. A community of people who would jump at the opportunity to do something others have deemed "impossible". It is a place where I can meet people who are bold, spontaneous, unique, generous, compassionate, and adventurous.
Traveling and couchsurfing sounds like a dream come true. Not only do you not have to pay for housing you also get to stay with cool people who know the area.
I don't currently have a lot to offer as a host, but I am still happy to open my house when it is available for any one needing a place in my area.
Interests
Arguably the most interesting thing in this world is human behavior. I love meeting new people anywhere I go. The more differences we have the better. Rather than judge, I try to celebrate the things that make a person unique.
I love the outdoors! I have dabbled in rock climbing and backpacking, and am an avid paddler. My favorite form of therapy is spending time around a body of water. Open boat open mind. :)
I enjoy cooking and eating. I am the least picky eater I have ever met, and I love trying new things.
Live music, movies, comedy shows, plays, or really any type of entertainment.
I am a total nerd. I could listen to someone talk about almost any subject as long as I'm learning something new. I think math has a beauty comparable to art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A tradition at my school is that when you get your class ring you drop it in a pitcher of beer and chug it. I dunked my ring in Guinness and it took me 19 seconds! I will probably still be bragging about that when I'm old and gray.
