About Me

Hi! I'm 32 years old. I was born and raised in Argentina and moved to the US when I was 12. I currently live in Orange County, CA where I'm currently working from home for 2 different school districts. I have a passion for travel and even though I wasn't able to fulfill much of my travels during my 20s, and very excited to have finally embarked on my travel journey. Besides traveling, I enjoy healthy eating, hiking and meeting new people and finding out about their respective cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The mere idea of being submerged in another culture inspires me! Ever since I was 16 years old, I would watch traveling shows, such as "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, " or "Passport to Europe" from the Travel Channel and this mysterious part inside of me, also now popularly known as the "travel gene" or "wanderlust," would start igniting. Back then, before social media started profiting from this overrated concept and before I would give it a name that others would recognize, I knew I had "it" in me. I let this little monster inside of me flourish for many years, without being able to let it escape. Now, it's finally able to. For me, traveling doesn't require posting a picture on Instagram or Facebook. I see traveling as an spiritual experience which doesn't necessarily need to be flaunted or exploited. Because of its personal nature, I believe traveling needs to be fully experimented with our 5 senses, without much distraction. I believe that by being in the moment, without much use of technology, one is a able to fully appreciate and take in the experience we are being gifted with. With all of that said, I can't wait to be in a foreign community and take in all that there is to take in! To receive and to give. Cheers to that!
