About Me
Hey guys, my name is Johanna!
I am a german student who lives usually in Göttingen. After an apprenticeship at a big automobile manufacturer I wanted to start living independent and working with something I am really interested in within my youth. So I started studying social sciences at the University of Goettingen. I love the student life, because I am a person who likes to talk to other people, likes doing sport together or party until the sun is coming up. The content of my academic studies also brings up a lot of books and texts, so I can say, that I also need a few hours for myself and reading a lot of stuff. Last year I made an Erasmussemester in Cluj Napoca, Romania. It was the best time of my life and I met very interesting people! Right now I am doing an internship at the automobile company and living back at my parents place on the countryside near Wolfsburg. If you want to see this, text me :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My sister always told me about this website and her (very good) experiences. It is sad, that I didn't use this beautiful chance as well - until now.
First time I used it before my semester abroad. I could inform myself about events or make a request for an accomodation for travelling. Now I want to use it more often, because I like this offer!
Giving and taking with friendly persons is the nicest way to learn from each other!

Music, Movies, and Books

My Favorite Movie is "One Day".
Favorite Book: "Die Bücherdiebin", written by Markus Zsusak.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done is actually driving scooter from one beach to another in the most beautiful place I have ever been to - Goa, India.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am really interested in the history of the second world war. As a german I learned much content about this in school. In the year 2014 I get the chance to work in the past concentration camp Auschwitz/Birkenau in Poland. I helped to reface things of the museum.
Teach, Learn, Share are things everybody has to do everyday! My experience there was very intensive. I got the awareness, that people have to be open-minded to understand what happens in a wrong way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a lot of giggling, some nice conversations and a german menu - potatoes, red cabbage, brown sauce and maybe schnitzel!
