About Me

ABOUT ME

When I was 17 I left Europe for the first time in my life to be an exchange student in Australia for a year. That was the first time that I realised how big the world is and how many approaches to life exist. I became more and more curious and couldn't stop following that desire to know and learn more. That has lead me to a few places, meeting very different people along the way. I really value the diversity of life and yet think it's beautiful how we're all the same in the end.

"No snowflake is like the other, yet all of them are snow."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Opening the doors of our homes is a beautiful way to connect with each other. It's perhaps one of the most honest and open ways to meet strangers and I have great respect for everyone visiting others or inviting travellers. For me Couchsurfing means meeting people with an open mindset and learning to appreciate people for who they are rather than trying to make them something they're not.

Couchsurfing is based upon trust and who doesn't need a dose of that in everyday life. You have to have trust to go to other peoples homes and also being a host means that you can trust your guests. As a host and a guest I met amazing people through Couchsurfing and am really happy for those opportunities.

Interests

Life is quite interesting and I believe as long as I live I won't stop learning. Therefore, it's quite hard to pinpoint interests but my main passion has always been understanding this life, what it means and how it works and how to maintain balance throughout ones personal life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to India in the beginning of 2016. I really didn't want to go and received the visa at the airport. It could've all been quite a fail but the course I attended there ended up to be some of the best things that has ever happened to be.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's always different what comes up, so lets see.

I can share time, an open mind, and perhaps even helping out a bit if needed.
