ABOUT ME

I'm a nineteen year old girl and live in the middle of the Ruhr Area. I passed my Abitur some days ago and in my free time I coach 10-14 year old children in my rowing club, which means much to me. I do this for two years now and I hope that I can go on with it during my academic studies.
I love travelling a lot (one reason why I finally registered here) and especially fell in love with Cuba. I think it is absolutely fascinating how satisfied the Cuban people seem to be even though they do not have as much material things as the most people in western countries.
Another thing I am interested in is music. I've been playing the piano for about 10 years. I love to listen to live music so it's always fun to go to concerts with my friends and maybe meet some other nice people with the same interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most exciting thing I've done was a student exchange with our partner school in Acre, Israel, when I was 15. It's a travel I would've never done alone, because as unknowing person you can't calculate the risks, but I met so many nice people and I definitely will come back one day.
And yes, it's true. You can "swim" ON the death sea. Amazing. :D
