About my profile: Unfortunately my old verified couchsurfing profile got lost when they put up the new site and I haven't had the possibility to host visitors the past year, so it seems as if I was a complete newbie. Which I am not! In Amsterdam i.e. I loved to take people out for food tours especially about surinamese cuisine, since it is impossible to find it anywhere else than in Suriname or The Netherlands, and most people visiting Amsterdam don't even know of its existence at all.

I have been travelling quite a bit... Colombia, Peru, Thailand, the US, Egypt... almost all European countries and speak fluent Dutch, Spanish, English and native German.

I love to cook, I also used to work as a chef. So anything with good food - and I am sold. If I find ingredients I don't know and a kitchen, you can be sure I'll start experimenting and cook for you. That might also happen if I know the ingredients :)
