ABOUT ME

Hei, I'm Johanna, Jo, Joy whatever :)

I discoverd couchsurfing a while ago but never really got propperly into it until i started travelling a year ago. I spent 8 months living and studying in Sydney that kind of changed my life! I loved the openminded people i met and all the travellers that shared their amazing stories/experiences with me. I'd say through these months I got to know myself better and found out what i really want in life! After Sydney i went for a month roadtripping through New Zealand and Indonesia, Singapore. I loved everything about it.. I went from big Citys into the remotest places you can imagine. So now i thought i want to give travellers the chance to get to know my country, enjoy a snowboard ride in winter and good hikes/ festivals in summer and simply enjoy the beautyness of Austria. And of course i want to continue my travells through the world as im not even near to a finish!!! :-)

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is .. you can do anything- as long as you love what you are doing! That is bascially how i try to live my life as of a matter of fact - life is too short! I also think there are no bad decisions. You'll either did the perfect thing, or you leasend out of it and it won't happen again !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent had couchsurfing experience through this website yet, allthough I hosted a couple of people i met during my travells in australia and let them stay in my apartment. I actually became friends with all of them and im going to visit them as soon as i can :) For example next year ill be going to Tel-Aviv!

Interests

I am super interested in a lot of things, I'd say I'm basically the type of person you could do anything with. I've done several sports and things in my life such as rockclimbing, playing football, surfing in australia, diving, skydiving, rafting and so on.
I also love going on Festivals as we have a lot going on every summer all around europe!!
Not to forget good: i love housepartys, good music, cocktails as i've worked as a Cocktail bar tender ;)
And here and then i dont mind a good movie such as pup fiction or so on for relaxing days/ nights :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love biographys of people! I like the fact that those people are real and that whatever it is about, its based on true events! It inspires me a lot!

I listen to a lot of music, from santigold across good dj's and I'm always curious for new bands….

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is definatley my skydive in new zealand. It was simply spectacular!!!
