I'm Johanna, 23 years old and from a lovely small town in Southern Germany. Currently I'm studying economics.

I love travelling and meeting new people and try to see more of the world and enjoy life. I'm uncomplicated, intersted in many different things and most of the time a pretty happy human being :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't tried counchsurfing yet but many friends of mine have and I think it is a great opportunity, so I want to try it as well! While travelling, I hope to meet some local people to experience the country from a different perspective, and while not travelling myself, I hope to meet people from all over the world.

Interests

Speaking and hearing foreign languages and experiencing other cultures. Sports like badminton, volleyball, climbing and cross-country skiing. Nature, being outside, hiking, sun and snow. Global politics, economics and recent history. Good books, literature, theatre and conerts. And food, especially breakfast!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Norway for one year, having snow both in October and April, hiking in the middle of the night in Northern Norway in summer where the sun doesn't set at all, sleeping in the forest without a tent, working at a skirace at minus 22 degrees, skiing in June, travelling a lot and enjoying this beautiful country.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach some complicated German and some easier Norwegian grammer. And make food: traditional German potato salad, Norwegian cinnamon rolls and South African curry (and also some more things)
