ABOUT ME

Currently moving from NYC to Los Angeles where I hope to get more involved in the couch surfing community!

I'm half-French half-American and have led a bit of an international life. I've lived in France, U.S., Canada, Mauritania, Morocco, Rwanda... I'm passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures, whether it's around the world or in a new part of the United States that I haven't explored!
I'm also a big comedy nerd--improv, sketch, etc. I did UCB in New York and have a lovely improv group called Hurly Burly :) I love writing and directing and hope to do more of it all in 2016 in Los Angeles!

But ultimately, I've learned, it's always about community. And what I find beautiful about traveling is that you always find community no matter where you go. Corny but true <3

PHILOSOPHY

Every person has a completely unique perspective on the world, and that is fascinating to me! I love that we are all different yet similar in ways that are really beautiful. The fun is in discovering new people, places, cultures, etc!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm driving cross country by car soon, with a close friend (DC to LA). Would love to use Couch Surfing and get to meet fascinating people along the way (versus stale motel rooms). I've also always wanted to be more involved in the Couch Surfing community, so this a great way to get started!

Camped out in the Sahara on New Year's Eve.
Took care of abandoned newborns in a village in Morocco.
Drank beer with Hutus and Tutsis in a bar in Kigali, Rwanda.
Lived on a ship that traveled around the world when I was a child.
