About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Doing what makes me happy to share this happiness with others

ABOUT ME

Social, party-loving German, studying fine arts at the HBKSaar. I love to spend time with friends and strangers to exchange, understand and share good moments. Always open for concerts all night long, spontaneous free hugs or high-fives in the streets.

Magic moments: collecting shells at the beach, climbing trees and lying on the branches, listening to birdsongs after a long party night, floating on lakes, having a nice drink with friends in the sun.

Right now I am probably...

- discovering new spots with my camera http://instagram.com/jo_schlegel
- working on my photography projects
- making (bad) jokes to collect some laughs

Why travelling? To get amazed by the beauty of nature, the bustling activity in cities and the friendliness of locals.

One day, I would like to... Do a trip around the world!

My favourite season... spring.

The best present you can get from strangers in the street... a smile :)

My favorite animals: frogs and squirrels

PHILOSOPHY

Trust yourself and everything will turn out fine!
Expect nothing - Get everything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting: Couchsurfing makes you meet people from all over the world – just by staying home ;) You share your couch, your flat, your food, your time and get so much more in return! I met new friends and extremely inspiring people. I got to know new cultures but most interestingly life stories and new points of view.

Surfing: By opening their door for you, hosts also kind of open the door of their country for you. You have the possibility to get to know their daily live, their interests, their culture and so much more.
