About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting a new life in Amsterdam!

ABOUT ME

Originally I come from a small town at the coast of the Baltic sea in Northern Germany but I've been living and studying in Stockholm (Sweden) since 2007 (with some French time in between: Erasmus in Toulouse and internship in Paris)... After almost 10 years in Stockholm, I decided to start a new life in Amsterdam in 2017! :-)

I love travelling (usually on my own, meeting awesome people on the road)... Morocco and India made me curious to see the whole world, while at the same time, I feel that there is so much more to discover close by... My "Tour de France et de Suisse" - going from Paris to Zurich was awesome, too... or the Swedish west coast...

So: I love travelling and I love languages!!! I love my accordion and I love my books!!! I love fair trade coffee and dark chocolate!!! :-P
What more can I say???
CARPE DIEM! Seize the day!

PHILOSOPHY

The world is a mirror: Smile, and it will smile back at you.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

Don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened.

Do it, because you have more to win than to lose!

Where there's a will, there's a way.

Carpe diem!

PS: I love philosophy... ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have been hosting travellers in Stockholm, meeting them in town and being a traveller myself that loves to discover other places and people!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

WONDERFUL!!! I went couchsurfing in April 2010 (crazy trip through France) and they have been such great people: Interesting and interested, open-hearted, warm and welcoming, so friendly - simply awesome!!! They really made me feel home wherever I was! Since 2012, I have been able to host couchsurfers at my place in Stockholm --- and I've made some really good friends! Simply amazing and wonderful people, have already managed to visit some of them in their countries! :D

Interests

Walking through the most beautiful city on Earth (i.e. Stockholm) and just admiring everything I see... Love going out to concerts, bars, the cinema but as well staying home and preparing nice meals (cabbage!!!).
