My name is Johanne, and right now I’m on a journey going from Tokyo to Akita and back with bicycle! I would love to meet locals and learn more about japanese culture along the way c: I’m also trying to learn the language as I will be staying in Japan for a year on a work holiday visa.

I would describe myself as an adventurous person that loves nature and exploring new places as a solo traver. I have a big passion for trying new things (right now I’m trying to learn the piano and figure skating!) and get out of my comfort zone!

Lately I’ve been really into Keshi’s Requiem album and the song Burning by Hitsujibungaku (My goal is to sing this at karaoke one day!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago I biked up Hehuanshan in Taiwan at 3200m, and after I reached the top, I hiked another 300m to get to the highest peak. It was definitely the hardest physical challenge I have ever done in my life.
