About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be all about the music - all the time!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student and I live in Copenhagen. I work at the national radio digitalizing music, and I have my own radio program about heavy metal on a local radio station. I also write, mostly cultural journalism (about music). I love metal but also a ot of other kinds of music.
I've lived in Uruguay and I continue going back to that wonderful country.
I live in a collective with Tue, Justine and Thor. Tue is my age and Justine and Thor are 4-5 years younger. Tue is also working on his master's thesis and working in a supermarket. Justine is an arts major from Lyon, France and she studies Danish, works at a French school and at a restaurant. She is also Tue's girlfriend. Thor is training to be a bicycle mechaninc while playing the guitar in several metal bands.
Our apartment is old and ragged but filled with good vibes!
PHILOSOPHY
Socialism. Ecology. Freedom, respect, nature, culture. And room for error.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and host and leave reviews... And I tell people about the site and my experience with it. I also joined a mediation groupe that was founded in here. I joined because of my roommate though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted a few couchsurfers in the summertime. We have also hosted several cycling tourists at our place. One of my roomies has a profile on warmshowers.com. I've couchsurfed in LA with my brother and have surfed on my own in Spain in Barcelona and Valencia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Metal and world music. 80's. New wave. Ska/reggae. Cumbia/reggaeton. Hey, I'm a musicology student who works in radio, I can't put everything here! What do you want from me? ;)
Inspirational movies: Almost Famous, The Boat That Rocked, Metal - A headbanger's Journey, Screamers, The Cove, Sharkwater.
Che Guevara's diary from Bolivia, Paolo Coelho - The Alchymist, Herman Melville - Moby Dick, George Orwell - 1984....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The world under the sea! Being a certified scuba diver has opened my eyes in a new way!
Living in South America also made me see the world in a different light - made me see how different we all are and how one's own world may not be the "correct" one. I was lucky to realize that already at the age of 17 when living i Uruguay.
