I am 22 years old, and currently I am on the greatest travel adventure of my life! I am literally trying to hitchhike around the globe. I set the rule for myself that I can not use any kind of paid transportation so I am only hitchhiking or walking. From my hometown Tübingen in Germany I will hitchhike through Europe looking for a opportunity to help out on a private sailboat to cross the atlantic. should I reach the American continent I will try to catch another sail boat over the Pacific to the Asian continent to hopefully complete my jouney by hitchhiking back to my hometown in Germany.
All of this is a long and complicated experiment but at the same time the greatest adventure of my life.
I fell in love with hitchhiking because it is the best way to get in contact with the local people which is the most interesting for me while traveling. That is why I also like to use Couchsurfing sometimes. ☺

I think a big part of traveling is meeting people from other countries, and couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Traveling is one of my greatest passions, meeting new people, learning from one another, maybe partying in a new city, or cooking together to experience the local cuisine.
I love nature and outdoor activity more than anything, especially hiking in the mountains and camping.
