I'm an easy-going and active guy who likes to meet different people from different places all over the world.

After my Bachelor studies in Germany I decided to take a gap year in Vancouver, Canada with my Slovak girlfriend Katka which I met 3 years ago during a student exchange program in Riga, Latvia. 14 months later we left Canada to start our US West Coast road trip (beginning of May this year) before we came back to Europe.

In the US we had the opportunity to experience the CS spirit to the fullest. The people we met and stayed at were the nicest hosts we could have ever imagined. I especially enjoyed the interesting conversations about a vast variety of topics which helped me to see things from a totally different angle that I was used to. I am very grateful that I have met all these amazing, thoughtful, and open-minded people who have truly broaden my mind and I am looking forward to meet further ones in the future!

I was lucky enough to get accepted at VU Amsterdam. This is why I am going to move there with my girlfriend in the beginning of fall. Once we have settled down we would be happy to host other Couchsurfers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s a great way to connect with interesting and open-minded people from all over the world. Meeting new people and exchanging experiences is always reviving, eye-opening and a way to extend my point of view. Plus, I love discovering places by meeting locals because people make places!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love good music and enjoy sharing and discovering songs with friends! I’m open to almost every kind of music but generally tending to electronic beats. However, it really depends on my mood and the occasion I am listening music to. I appreciate good music even more with great headphones or a good sound system.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are lots of good memories of things I have done so far but living in a van discovering New Zealand for more than 6 month was definitely one of the most memorable!
