WHO I AM: i am a sportive person (triathlon, marathon running, mountain bike, yoga, basketball) that enjoys being outside in the nature and living simple, but also knows how to life the good life and enjoy good food, drinks and live music. i have a thing for architecture, photography and design and love to talk politics and history. i studied geography and economics in munich with a focus on tourism but want to continue in the field of politics. besides studies i worked as barista in a small bakery and as barkeeper for event catering.

PHYLOSOPY: "in bayern daheim, in der welt zuhause" means something like: "i call bavaria my home but i feel home in the world" since i love travelling and the feeling of discovering again and again that we all have more in common then things that separate us. coming back home from travels makes me value more the small things in everyday life that you sometimes forget to appreciate and it gives me gratitude.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

couchsuring enabled my brother to travel the caribbean for one year on little money and return with hundreds of great stories that are simply impossible to be told by someone that just stayed in hostels with other travellers. as much as i value the information exchange in hostels on longer trips, you often lack the local recommendations and authentic experience that you get from couch surfing. i am looking forward to meeting inspiring new folks and have good conversations to break the one or the other stereotype in my head and maybe also in your head.
