We are Chiara and Johannes. Two Work and Travellers from Germany, living and traveling in Canada right now. We never tried couchsurfing before, but we hope to meet awesome people and create amazing memories. We gaduated in 2015. Atfter that we did a voluntary year in a facility for people with disabilities. Then we decided to do a Work and Travel Trip to Canada. We are in Canada since October 2016, worked in Vancouver and Kelowna and travelled with our Dodge Caravan Campervan around Canada and the US for 4 months. Now our Work and Travel journey is almost over and we are going back to Germany at the end of july. Before that we have a few days in New York City.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We noticed throughout travelling that, besides seeing awesome places, meeting new people is the best thing about it. And we heard from so many travellers that couchsurfing is a great oppertunity to do this. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once we had a flat tire and a young man pulled over and had his wife and two young kids with him. He tried to help me change the tire, but that didn't worked out very well. So he called his car service for us. The mechanic was succesful and we had everything fixed. Then they asked us where we are going to stay for the night and invited us to their home. We had an awesome night and diner with them and we were so grateful!
It was an amazing experience to meet so hepful and friendly people.
