Hey there 👋🏻 I’m Johannes aka Jogi

I currently live in the Venice of the North, also known as Hamburg ;-) but I was born in the Black Forest — so I basically swapped mountains and fir trees for canals and seagulls.
Like the geography between these two places, my life has rarely taken a straight path. Sometimes adventurous, wild, and fun like a trip to Bangkok; sometimes bittersweet like a symphony — full of ups and downs, but never boring.

I’m a humorous, curious, and passionate person who enjoys both deep talks and spontaneous adventures. Music plays a big role in my life — sometimes I lose myself at the e-piano, sometimes on the dance floor.

I like people who are authentic, kind, and a bit unpredictable — makes life more interesting.
If there’s good music, a hike, spontaneous plans, or just a reason to laugh — I’m in.
Bonus points if you dance like nobody’s watching (I probably will too).

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people beyond the surface — sharing stories, adventures, laughter, ideas, and a bit of real life.
For me, the best travel memories don’t come from guidebooks, but from shared meals, exciting acitivites, unexpected conversations, and moments that make you feel at home in a strange place.
