I am a non-smoking pensioner, who loved his job as a social worker in a school near Hamburg, Germany. When we had time, I travelled mostly together with my wife through many countries and we always loved to be with local people.
This time I travel on my own, because my wife couldn't succeeed in getting some vacation from her job.
I love to share funny moments with people and like to hang around with honest, decent people and having good talks. I am a calm person who is open-minded and very curious to meet interesting people in Iran.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this couchsurfing account just for my travel through Iran.
I strongly believe that you only can "feel" a country, if you are in touch with the people living there. So I hope couchsurfing will be a way for me to meet iranian people and to talk and exchange minds about daily life, social life, hopes, dreams, travel experiences and many other things. Also I would like to improve my very basic farsi . Hope to see anybody of you soon.
And don't worry - despite my age I'm pretty cool!
