Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey everyone, my name is Johannes, or Joe as you prefer.
Love the outdoors, most fascinated with aesthetics in movement, contemporary dance, most sports, rock climbing, flow states
Love getting lost in music (love raves and techno in its many forms), enjoying la dolce vita with good company
As much as quiet moments preferably in nature
Constantly challenging my set of believes with ideas and philosophy.
Most interested in how humans cope to the human condition, what we are evolutionary coded to do, how we are able to grow
Interested in different perspectives on life
A well balanced mix between Logic, Science, Philosophy and Spirituality. Not a scholar in any of those but could talk for hours about the big questions
Adaptive to social situations. Giving and taking space while being thoughtful of others. Always curious and very happy to learn new things
Child friendly
Animal friendly
LGTBQI+ safespace is a must
No sexism, no racism
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet awesome people! Diving right into a place with locals.
It is about new experiences, sharing stories and about generosity.
Centres d'intérêt
As you probably read between the lines, I love being in motion, working with and feeling my body. Next to climbing and hiking I started to enjoy conciseness while moving in form of yoga or breath practices a lot. Slacklining, Highlining (I don't know anything about rigging though), dancing, flow arts and acrobatics are things I really love spending time with. At times I do one thing more than the other. Im always happy to share some movement sessions and learn and teach one thing or another.
Besides the sportive aspect I find a lot of pleasure in being silly goofing around, being very serious while talking about philosophy and the big questions, reading (right now I'm most fascinated with Jamie Wheal and Lisa Feldman-Barret), meditation, dancing, festivals, cold exposure and many other things. Always open and curious to new interesting ideas for spending a good time. Get in touch :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
a few Books that intrigued me a lot lately:
How Emotions are made. Lisa Feldman-Barret
Recapture the rapture. Jamie Wheal
Mans search for meaning. Viktor Frankl
In the realm of hungry ghosts. Gabor Mate
The body keeps the score. Bessel van der Kolk.
And probably many more. I'm into philosophy, rational mysticism, sports and health, psychology, trauma work etc...
Music:
I'd say I like many genres. Having lived in Cologne I enjoyed an amazing techno scene, from oriental downtempo to faster and darker techno. I really love losing myself in dance with good music and lovely people around me. Other than partying I enjoy more quiet music.
Thom Yorke, Sufjan Stevens, Nils Frahm, Nicolas Jaar, Shkoon, Ameli Paul etc
As for movies. I hardly watch any these days. I've seen Dune in the cinema this year and was quite fascinated by the visuals and audio.
