Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Business and IT in Munich and decided to travel around in the United States and Canada with my great friend Marcus before I start my Master's degree.
I love getting to know the places I visit first hand and seeing spots tourists usually don't get to see. That's why I think Couchsurfing is a perfect fit: You get to meet great people, share some great experiences and sometimes even build long lasting friendships :-)

Movies, TV Shows & Books

I am a huge movie/TV shows and book guy. Going to the movies is always special, one one of the only places left where bunch of people are just focused for two hours on one thing alone; without using their phones or talking (in the best case at least haha). Among my favorite movies are Interstellar, The dark Knight (and basically every other Christopher Nolan movie), Requiem for a Dream, La La Land, Lion, Into the Wild, Drive, Superbad, Fight Club, Seven and American Hustle.
Watching a movie or a TV show at home is also great. Especially with Netflix I have probably spent too many hours in front of shows like Parks and Recreation, The Office, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, Stranger Things and many many more.

My reading habit is a more inconsistent one: Sometimes I will read three books in a week and then there'll be times when I don't even touch one for 3 weeks. What I can't get enough of are the books by John Green (Looking for Alaska, The fault in our stars,...).

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my greatest passions are sports, especially playing basketball, soccer and going to the gym. I am always open to trying out new activities. Besides doing sports I also love watching NBA, NFL and soccer games.
