Overview
About Me
I'm from Cologne and living in Berlin, currently wrapping up my studies at university, learning Portuguese with fervor and loving it, but mostly being busy looking forward to Carnaval in Rio. Also I like to sing, to read newspapers and to go to bars with nice people. I used to work in various fields in journalism but frankly still haven't made up my mind if that's really for me, I appreciate every new idea! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet nice people (and maybe even go to bars with them), obviously!

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been singing in choirs dedicated to "classical" music since I'm 6, so I got to adore old music, like Bach, and composers from the Renaissance age like Palestrina. Youth was solid Arctic Monkeys, Phoenix and the likes, Indie stuff, nothing too crazy though. Currently completely hooked on the poesia of beautiful Música Popular Brasileira.
In terms of literature, Stefan Zweig, Hermann Hesse, Erich Maria Remarque, Sarah Bakewell, Matt Haig, Julio Cortazar are some authors that I really like or that somehow influenced my life!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some! Playing and singing in actual operas as a kid. Traveling Japan and Brasil. Working in demolition, with crowbars and sledgehammers and stuff. Living in Paris for a semester and falling in love there. (Almost) Every single time I hitchhiked. And I read Tolstoi's War and Peace from beginning to end and will put that on my gravestone!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you songs from my hometown, Cologne! They're quite beautiful.
