I'm a 19 year old girl born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. Currently on a gap year before starting university in Fall 2018. I love doggos, stuffed animals, theatre and prefer savoury snacks over sweets. I also enjoy singing, acting and reading, but often find myself either out and about with friends or in front of my computer watching Netflix. I've previously gone to international school and love learning and speaking new languages, and am furthermore a huge Disney and Ghibli fan. I'm the type of person to stop mid-sentence because a cute animal is nearby; I also think jellyfish are beautiful, and I love the ocean.

I'm looking for cultural exchanges and new friends while visiting new places. I like to have the most authentic experience of the place I am visiting, and I think staying with, meeting and talking to local people is a great way of getting this! I honestly think that understanding different cultures is the key to stopping hatred under the current political circumstances, and a site like Couchsurfing is crucial in this.

I have great Danish and English skills, but am also proficient in German and Spanish, so I'd like to think that I can get around talking to most people. I'd love to show travelers around the wonderful Copenhagen - I live in what I think is one of the most vibrant and beautiful neighbourhoods of the city, but having lived here all my life I know my way around the rest of the city as well <3
