About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To pass my university year in French.

ABOUT ME

27 years old, studying to become a psychologist with already three years at Uni behind me, having spent the best of my student grant reading modern literature and sociology. I am pretty openminded, funny and witty, probably an optimist, but I think I have a rather serious look upon my life.
Am also pretty left wing (or red/green) in my political views, interested in ideological debates although not as much in the world of politicians. Having said that, I think the world is getting more and more complicated and I revise my views every now and then.
These views do not at all impact on my relations to other people unless you are in some way, shape or form homophobic, racist or sexist - in that case I won't host you because we probably wouldn't have anything to give each other. I'm for open borders and free migration, and against pointless nationalism and smallminded dogmatism. This said, I don't preach or follow ideologies at all - I'm just not tolerant to intolerance. Am not religious but I have an open relation to religion and spirituality, which means that I'm bothered with existentialistic questions and therefore open, but rather disinterested in following doctrines.

I think that life is lived not on your dayjob but in your spare time and that there is much to experience and explore within yourself and in your relations to others. There are things to learn and discover in abundance, and by testing new things you find the most important secrets of life. Sometimes those are just supporting a football team (I'm a big Liverpool FC supporter) or spending time with people you love or anything else really.

Music, Movies, and Books

This list is just not possible to create without spending 10 hours. There's too much to put down. I won't now but I'd love to discuss this when we meet: we must have something to argue about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent being sailing with my friend on a boat with our electricity off, meaning we had no idea what weather was coming. With an hour to the port, we saw lightnings over land: the biggest thunderstorm ever measured in Sweden started, and it started right over the part of Scania we were heading towards. Never been so afraid and focused in the same time. We arrived to the harbour just in time, but fastening the boat took us an hour in the storm. That made me feel alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some instruments like guitar, piano and bass. I enjoy discussing, even the smallest subjects like football or the bigger ones like philosophy and religion. I am well-read, quite knowledgeable (although I believe that you are more interesting if you see what you DON'T know - for me thousands of things) and love to talk. Otherwise... No, I really don't know too much, except languages, but I always want to learn more.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom
