Music, Movies, and Books

Movies – Romantic comedies, action movies, international films are my favorites. Music – big fan of hip hop and alternative. Books – Middle East, US foreign policy, world history, romance (modern), witty, comical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently I would have to say the most amazing thing I did was travel to Egypt with my mom and little sister (her first time out of the USA). We did Cairo and Luxor and were fortunate to have a connection with an Egyptian woman who lives in Cairo and also works as a tour guide. She was very welcoming and we were able to get into heated cultural debates and really learn something about the politics and social issues of today’s Egyptian women. All of the sites were amazing and I have to say taking in the Pyramids of Giza, Temples of Luxor, and history of thousands and thousands of years, it was everything I had hoped for!
