ABOUT ME
Generally I am a very positive person - sometimes so positive that I wonder if it is even justified at the moment in question.
Also I play the drums, love listening to music and sometimes I even read a book! Oh, and I am a big film fan!
Sometimes I am told that I have a good sense for word games of the off-topic kind (random associations that come to mind) and also that this can get annoying at times. But still I have to speak them out loud because they´re oh so temporary! Be prepared.
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy? Hmmm...
My basic principle is to welcome everyone and everything as unprejudiced as possible. We all know it can be hard sometimes, but actually there´s something common to be found in any other person on this planet. Except for people who enjoy genocide, heavy exploitation, abuse and the like...
I live my life mostly for being happy and helping others at that. There´s so little in our private life worth worrying about in these decadent, Western conditions. It is a bitch though to be indirectly responsible for some dead children in another part of the world each year without actually wanting it. And until I have found a good solution to that mindboggeling topic, I try to reduce my "death-toll" (so to say) and help the people in reach as good as I can.
I guess that wraps it up.
Oh, and I am strongly convinced that people should hug each other more often! FAR more often!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can offer up to 3 spots to sleep. Our flat is quite small but...yeah, 3 people should fit. I´m only living in Berlin since november 2012 so I´ve got to discover this monster of a city myself, still. I do know my area (Kreuzberg) a bit by know, though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted many people together with my flatmates in Prague, where i did my exchange-semester in 2009/2010. That was the first time I actually heard about this sweet, sweet organisation and now, finally, I joined! Also I couchsurfed in Morocco and it was a blast! Having some troubles to cope with the culture-shock I experienced, it was a relief to have a relaxed and open minded host in Fés. I had the greatest local food, a jam-session with wonderful people on a rooftop and annoying salesmen chasing me through the city´s streets. Thank any Monotheistic God (or other sources of life, the universe and everthing) for all that!

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list here, so just three names for each section.
Movies (let´s take some genre-examples): Dial "M" for Murder, Spirited Away, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Music: The Blood Brothers, Sonic Youth, General Elektriks, Refused
Books: Crime and Punishment (Dostoyevsky), The Invention of Solitude (Auster), Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Galaxy Vol. 1-5 (Adams)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Squatted a house, released an album with my ex-band Billy Rückwärts - and I have seen horses puke!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to teach, learn and share to/from/with any person that is open and interested. I can forward some basics in drumming, playing Diabolo (the juggling-thingy) and maybe some pantomime- and sound imitation skills. Or how to fix a house´s water-system! But it´s hard to say if I´m a good teacher - you´ll have to judge on that. I´d love to learn how to play the guitar properly. I´m stuck with a few chords for years now...shameful, shameful.
