Hey there , I am Yiannis ( but john in English seem easier ) and I am Greek student who whenever has time travel or meeting new foreign people in my city, Athens Greece !

As a Greek I love the sea so my favorite activities has to do with that ! I love surfing and have tried some times rafting as well !
I am also in to sports as a former basketball player and current occupied in martial arts !

I am very proud of famous Greek hospitality and I wanna help people visiting here feel like home and comfortable , find and meet the original Greek lifestyle and culture !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a former Erasmus student I made a lot of trips but basically with a big group of guys staying in hostels ! But now I wanna keep on traveling and since most of the times I have no company to travel with I want to have the opportunity to meet local people wherever I go !

I don't see couch surfing as a way to save some money from accommodation but to meet and feel for a while the lifestyle of the place I visit and not to feel just as a tourist !

I am very excited joining this great idea and can't wait to meet people in my city or in my following trips !
