Overview
About Me
I love: good conversations, meeting new people openly, playing music, reading good books, long mornings, being outside, going on long runs in cities and getting soaked in rainstorms, museum wandering, dogs, walking around and looking at people's gardens, being in mountains in rivers and at the beach. I'm a teacher, and I love writing fiction...I just finished a draft of my first novel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
...because I want to meet new people and dig into It, wherever I am.
Interests
In addition to what's mentioned above, and in no particular order, I love: swimming in odd municipal pools, swimming in waterholes, jumping off of tall things into water, rock climbing, going to libraries and staying there for the entire day, sitting in warm places and drinking beer, talking, bike rides, watching Cowboys and Aliens (my god, what a yarn!), watching anything by the Coen Brothers, meeting people, meeting dogs, writing short stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saved a talk show host from ill-tempered llamas!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: a great brick chicken recipe, the guitar
Learn: anything
Share: writing, enthusiasm for pancakes
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation and learning about one another is the general and most precious one, but: I can also teach you basic acro-yoga, which, in addition to being hilarious, is great for your back. And, if you've got a park nearby, I can teach you how to throw a frisbee really far.
