Overview
About Me
I am a student at Binghamton University (a part of the SUNY system) studying chemistry and environmental studies. I will be living in LA this summer and decided to drive across the country from my home just north of NYC to LA with my friend, Shane. Although we will be camping along the way, we'd like to stay in some cool cities and spots and get a feel for the local culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I spent this past fall semester of college abroad at University College London in the UK and ended up meeting so many new and interesting people. I think that Couchsurfing will be a great way to continue making friends all over. I hostelled quite a bit while I was across the pond and found it to be a great way to meet locals and other foreigners. I think the best way to truly get to know an area and its secrets is by meeting locals and getting the scoop from them.
Interests
I study chemistry and environmental studies at school, but am interested in science, technology, and humanities topics of all sorts. Outside of class, I am a staff photographer for my school's student-run newspaper, The Pipedream, and a defenseman for the club lacrosse team. I also enjoy fitness activities including weightlifting, running, yoga, and swimming. I'm open to any type of music and I like to (try to) sing along.

What I Can Share with Hosts
