Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host a lot of events (beach bonfires, house parties, etc.) to which I invite a wide range of people and someone suggested I join Couchsurfing to post to the events there for people that are in town temporarily, which sounded like a great way to meet some new and interesting people.
